How to Purchase

Mechanical Fasteners

At times mechanical fastening may be required. There are three recessed attachment points on each stud face. Use 2-3/4" hex head Tapcon® screws or Gripcon® nails.
We have several options to secure the wall. Here we will demonstrate installing a Gripcon nail. Pre-drill a pilot hole with a hammer drill. Make sure you drill deeper than the nail is long. Use a hammer to drive the nail into the wall. Don't overdrive the nail. You can also use a Tapcon or other appropriate concrete screw.
